It is to do lesson study using politics units of 6th grade in the elementary social studies and clarify current situations and issues on lesson study on social studies.\nAs the result this study has found out the following points:\n1. There are two types, general lesson study and particular lesson study.\n2. General lesson study and particular lesson study are related to each other, and from general one to particular one or from particular one to general one.\n3. It is necessary to need the perspective of the school subject on lesson study on the school subject.
