From the viewpoint of social studies this paper is to explain the reasons of picking up the relationship, compare characteristics of school subjects of the life environmental studies and social studies, and find up similarities and differences on similar units on two school subjects and the relationship and its cooperative possibilities of two school subjects.\nThe finding out of this paper is the following;\n1. Two school subjects are different on characteristics of two school subjects.\n2. The life environmental studies is a school subject and beyond a school subject while the subject does the education of character building.\n3. Social studies is too a school subject and beyond a school subject while the subject aims to build up citizenship, the member of the nation and society.\n4. Two school subjects are going to cooperate and connect, which are subsumed and transcended.\n5. Concerning with a learner(self) and society, the life environmental studies treats from learner, concerning to society, social studies handle mutual relations between each learner and society within the society.\n6.
